and they begin to put sanctions on them. What is Iran doing? Trying to make

The Persians apparently sprang from a people from the hills of Russia known
as Indo-Aryans The term Persia was adopted by all western languages
through the Greeks and was used as an official name for Iran by the West until
1935. Their name was origionally Parsau, named after Cyrus The Great’s clan.
But the Greeks rendered this as 'Persis' which is where the word Persian in
English comes from. The greeks used the word Persis because they believed
that Cyrus’s Clan were direct decendants of Perseus of Greek Mythology
(The Breaker). The Old Testement refers to them as Persia. Cyrus The Great
was both Persian and Mede.
The Persian Empire was a series of historical empires that ruled over the Ira-
nian plateau, the old Persian homeland, and beyond in Western Asia, Central
Asia and the Caucasus (Part of Russia). Today the nation of Persia is known
primarily as Iran .
